Here is a little bit about Macowl:

Macowl is almost as old as Chicketooken and he is just as loud which comes in handy when the Sosillyan Parrots feel threatened by possible danger.  Since his eyes are located on the underside of his head, you will find the Macowls with many of the other flocks where they can watch each other’s backs while foraging for food in the underbrush.
