Citron-crested Cockatoo Bobblebird
The Silly Parrot's Adventure

INTRODUCTION &
GAME PLAY:

The Silly Parrot's Adventure

Blue & Gold Macaw Bobblebird
Congo African Grey Bobblebird
Here in our Silly Parrot home, our Flock has a large assortment of
toys to play with but at times that isn't always enough...so that is
when we invite a flock of "different looking" birds to come over
and play with them.  With the mild winter we have had here in our
neck of the woods, our flock was growing antsy rather early
this year so we have had the Sosilly Parrots here playing with our
Parrot family, but it is time for them to go back home now.

These parrots live in a hidden paradise and it is called
Sosilly Parrot Island.  No one knows the exact location
of this island except us.

That is where you come in - you have to find the
"12 Sosillyan Parrots" hiding amongst our flock.
They are hiding because they don't want to go home quite yet.

Like I mentioned above, the Sosillyan Parrots are very different
from other parrots and they will not look like any of the Silly Parrot
flock or Bobblebirds shown on this page, but I am sure you will be
able to tell the difference...

To the younger people (or anyone I guess) playing this Adventure,
please remember "different" doesn't mean anything bad at all.
We are all "YOU"nique and Special in our own individual ways.
Just because the Sosillyan Parrots are different, that doesn't mean
a thing...they still love and want to be loved; they still want to be
treated nice and they love to play; they have talents
they want to share like we all do...you can't judge that
Sosillyan Parrot just because of how it looks.
It's NOT wrong to be different.

When you find a Sosillyan Parrot, please click on each
one to get to the next step until you have found all 12.

THIS IS THE TRICKY PART...

The "spot" you have to click on will be VERY, VERY small but it is
there (Sorry, it won't scream out "here I am" LOL).
You'll have to move your cursor all over each and every Sosillyan
Parrot you have located until you see your cursor change and
you can click on the spot to move forward and also, to
learn more about each and every Sosillyan Parrot.

I have done it this way to remind you that in the wild and
even in captivity, birds are always on the alert for danger.
If they are sick, they hide their symptoms because a sick or weak
bird unfortunately can mean a deceased bird...since they
are playing with our family flock in a new environment,
this is no exception - they love it here, but it is not their home so
of course they are on the alert and are hiding their "spots".

I think we can learn something from this... it isn't always a good
thing to hide your "spots".  If we hide what is bothering us,
how do our friends and family know there is something wrong?

They won't, so please DON'T hold it in.

Please talk to someone about what is bothering you and maybe
someone can help before things get too bad.  In many ways,
our birds can teach us things that can help us in our everyday lives.

One more thing, when you find the Sosillyan Parrots and you
click on them to move on, you will notice they have all been
assigned a number, please write that number down.

GOOD LUCK and I hope you have as much FUN playing
as I have had creating "The Silly Parrot's Adventure"!
